THIS CLASS IS FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN 8 AND 12 YEARS OLD
We at La Cucina del Sole think that learning how to cook healthy, nutritious and tasty meals is an asset and that the younger you learn, the better it is. All of us in our team learned how to cook from our moms and grannies back then in Italy and we’re so grateful for that! (and our family and friends too) 🙂
So let us teach your children how to make fresh pasta! They’ll love the process and they’ll be able to prepare it at home too, making everyone happy with their tasty creations!
Home-made pasta is healthy, tasty and so easy to prepare.
Our chef will help your children create three amazing types of egg pasta and one basic Italian sauce:
- farfalle (butterflies)
- tagliatelle (flat noodles) and
- maltagliati with a lovely tomato-basil sauce.
They will make both the pastas and the sauce. After that they will taste the maltagliati with the sauce and take the other two pastas home with them to cook for the whole family the way you like the most!
Please make sure they bring their own Tupperware boxes/plastic bags to take the pasta home with them. You can also buy eco doggy-bag boxes from us (1 euro per piece).
During this workshop we serve apple juice, mango juice, water/mineral water and fruit (fresh and dried, as a little healthy snack).
What You Can Expect: during this pasta class your child/ren prepare three delicious pastas to taste and to take home.
During this class the kids are served apple juice, water, Italian mineral water and little snacks (fresh and dried fruit, scrocchi plus some of the pasta and sauce they’ve made).
The rest of the pasta can be taken home to enjoy with the whole family.
The children work in a relaxed, hands-on environment under the guidance of our professional cooking instructors.
- This class lasts 2 to 2,5 hours max.
- This workshop is limited to 14 children.
- They will be standing, working and cooking for most of the time so make sure they wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and tie back long hair.
- The kids will enjoy apple juice/water at arrival, drinks with little nibbles during the cooking class, plus a generous tasting of one pasta + sauce.
These classes do not include a lunch or dinner sitting at the table. The children will prepare three pastas and taste one of them + sauce. We encourage taking home left-overs/surplus pasta so please make sure they take their own containers. You can also buy ecologic food containers from La Cucina del Sole (1 euro per piece).
Should your child have any allergies/intolerances/special dietary requirements, please state them when booking this workshop. Adjustments to recipes during the workshop are quite difficult and sometimes impossible. Thank you for your collaboration.
Should you want to take your own aprons, please feel free to do so. Otherwise you can use ours.
